I love how they acknowledge that Bocchi might have some issues and they tried their best to accommodate her. They didn't told her to cheer up! or snap out of it! or something like that, but they dragged her lifeless body all the way to pull her out of the slump.

Ironic how Kita considerately gave Bocchi space instead of inviting her out since Bocchi'd freak out but Bocchi was freaking out @ home wanting to go out. Basically, Bocchi freaks out either way so just drag her around since she wants to be social but struggles to express it.

I love when ppl invite me out. If you yourself have no issues finding stuff to do and you have that one friend who seemingly doesn't want to do anything just invite them anyways, even if they say no 9/10 times.

It's impossible to approach people and be like "hey do you have anything happening?" for me. I've tried and they'll say "yeah" and the not invite me.

I'm the type of person who's content to stay home but has the most fun during specific activities.
A while back, I was 1 of the few of my peers with a ride so certain others usually called me. + if it weren't for them, I wouldn't've been to certain private events.

I have been seeing people praising about this in most of the review I saw. They truly accept Bocchi as she is and just have fun knowing all her quirks. Good friends they are.

This reminds me of me @ a bar last night drinking & staring into space then a pair approached me asking me if I'm okay, saying I look depressed or work-stressed. 1 said they had issues & learned to laugh to feel more positive so I should do the same.
Optically, it did look like I was drinking away work woes but I tend to forget about work soon after I leave though.

If it’s published in a seinen publication, then it’s a seinen. There’s nothing that says a seinen needs to include mature subject matter, but if you consider this show’s fairly accurate depiction of social anxiety, then it’s actually considerably more mature than it appears at first glance.

yes lol, this is seinen. It's hard to say how its a seinen, but try to compare it to shounen slice of life like uzaki-chan, takagi-san or daily lives of high school boys

Too many stairs... I can see myself being exhausted after literally conquering them all. And I can also see myself not paying for the escalator. I'd rather die of exhaustion than pay for that.
